Road Trip Transfer!
This transfer, we had our lowest number of missionaries and apartments, 58 companionship's. Only one companionship lives in an apartment. We decided to go and do interviews at each missionary apartment. We wanted to see where they live, the streets and neighborhoods they live on and around and in. We had a ball on our little road trip, our mission covers two thirds of Pennsylvania, a small area of West Virginia, Ohio and New York. We visited about 5 or 6 apartments each day. We saw more of this beautiful countryside and put about 2000 miles on the car over 12 days through the transfer! They of course cleaned and prepped the apartments for us, and we were blessed by the Spirit we felt in their homes. It was fun to do once. We did love it though!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun thing to do, to go and see all of your missionaries in their homes. And what a beautiful mission you have. We are up to close to 90 companionships, so I'm not sure we could pull that one off. Also, I don't know how you did 27 incoming missionaries. The most we have had is 24 and that was a killer. You and Steve look great. Love you both!
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking time to visit each home and companionship, take pictures, and share the adventures of your labors! It is a delight to feel of the love that is shared so abundantly by missionaries and their leaders.
